We work with you to consider your options. There often are more conservative steps to take before jumping to surgery or joint replacement. Non-operative options include physical therapy, cortisone and visco-supplementation injections. Dr. David Bealle, a Hopkinsville native, has proudly served the Western Kentucky region with outstanding orthopaedic care for the past 20 years, performing more than 10,000 surgeries to help his patients achieve greater comfort and mobility.
A 1984 graduate of Hopkinsville High School, Dr. Bealle attended Murray State University on an academic / football scholarship. It was there he became interested in orthopaedic medicine following surgical treatment of a college football injury.

General Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Timothy Chang, has served the Western Kentucky region since 2014. His unique background and training offer an unusually broad range of experience to treat patients for joint pain, joint replacement, arthritis, bone fracture, sport injuries, as well as skeletal, muscular, ligament, cartilage, and tendon injuries.
Dr. Chang also holds a PhD in Health Economics, a credential that makes him especially mindful of a patient’s financial burden for medical care. He is therefore deliberate in his current practice to balance his patients’ best medical options for high quality outcomes with the lowest patient cost burden.

Dr. Rudy Robbe, a native of Atlanta Georgia, proudly served our country as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in both Iraq and Afghanistan before turning his passion for healing to the Western Kentucky region where he started his practice in 2004, and then joined the surgical staff at Jennie Stuart Health. Dr. Robbe received numerous commendations and service awards during his Army commission. He also was named one of the 2006 National Physicians Advisory Board Doctors of the Year.

I am excited to join the JSH family and work alongside my amazing colleagues in delivering orthopedic care to Hopkinsville and the surrounding communities. I am looking forward to continuing the cutting edge robotic surgical techniques and advancements at JSH. I recently presented my robotic research at the 2021 fall AOAO (American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics) conference where I received the award for top adult reconstruction research.
