HOPKINSVILLE, KY- April 27, 2018 – The team at Jennie Stuart Women’s Health Unit including the Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Newborn Nursery has welcomed a new addition to their department. Physicians and staff at the hospital generously donated funds to install what they affectionately call the Angel Baby Lullaby. The lullaby system is heard throughout the hospital and is a reminder of those special moments in life. The nursing staff press a button that plays the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star to celebrate each baby born at Jennie Stuart Health.
The dedicated physicians and staff at Jennie Stuart have been planning and making arrangements to install the system for quite some time. "We are very fortunate to have such a great group of people who are continuously seeking ways to enhance the patient experience for our new parents. What a delightful way to reveal a new life has begun", said Eric Lee, CEO.
The Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians at Jennie Stuart Health deliver an average of over 700 babies every year. They understand new mothers deserve to be pampered and offer their support with preparation classes, private and comfortable birthing rooms, security system for infant protection, a neonatal intensive care unit, and the Kangaroo Care program.
