Jennie Stuart Health celebrates a groundbreaking ceremony
for their new medical office building near the corner of Ft. Campbell Blvd. and
Eagle Way. In addition to an expansion of local healthcare services, the
facility will also house new medical services provided by Vanderbilt Health. Jennie
Stuart has been a member of the Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network for two years.
"During that time we have implemented various shared services with Vanderbilt
to include telehealth programs such as tele-neurology, tele-infectious disease,
and tele-EEG", said Eric Lee, CEO. "It has proven to be a great partnership for
our hospital and for our local community".
The clinical affiliation between Jennie Stuart and
Vanderbilt Health will strategically relocate several existing services as well
as introduce new service lines to the area. The location is ideal for
Vanderbilt Health to position several medical specialists in the region. As the
delivery of healthcare changes and a larger allocation of services become
outpatient services, this medical office building is well positioned to
geographically serve an expanding area of the community.
Among attendees of the event were state and local
community supporters including Mayor Carter Hendricks, Christian County Chamber
of Commerce President, Kelli Pendleton, Planters Bank President, Elizabeth
McCoy, State Senator Whitney Westerfield, and State Representative, Walker
Thomas. Introductions during the event were presented by Tracey Clark, the new Executive
Director of the Jennie Stuart Health Foundation.
