Jennie Stuart Neurology is pleased to announce to addition of Margaret Norsworthy to our team.

Meg is a Certified Advanced Practice Family Nurse Practitioner with over 8 years’ experience in the field of Neurology. Meg has worked as a nurse for over 27 years in a variety of clinic settings including 18 years in surgery as a Certified Surgical Technologist and Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry, and the most recent in Neurology as an APRN. She brings expertise and experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a variety of neurological diseases including dementia, migraine, neuro autoimmune disease such as Multiple Sclerosis and myasthenia gravis, neuropathies, seizure disorders, stroke, and sleep medicine.

In the last 8 years, Meg participated in the initiation and implementation of the most up to date, evidence based treatments in Neurology including the adoption of advanced imaging to detect and diagnose certain types of Dementia and Parkinson’s, Botox injections for the treatment of chronic migraines, a hypoglossal nerve stimulator which is the lasted treatment for obstructive sleep apnea, and the Vagal Nerve Stimulator (VNS) procedure for the treatment of seizures .

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, singing with her church choir, and lake time.

Meg notes "My mission is not to just provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatments, but to provide holistic neurological care to patients and their families. It is my job to support, educate, improved quality of life, and improve mobility to all who suffer from chronic neurological conditions." Meg notes she looks forward to getting to know the community and building relationships within Jennie Stuart.
